Canyon Embroidery

The Canyon Rose embroidery is about 20 inches wide and 17 inches tall. I looked at a lot of pictures of the Grand Canyon before I drew it out. I wanted to work on a piece that had a southwestern feel. I have had many visions during meditation about the eagle flying over the canyon. I also have a deep love of the amazing types of colors and energies that I have experienced in that part of the country. There is a vastness and a sacredness there, and I wanted to represent that.
