Spiritual Voices
Angels, Mountains, Nature Spirits, Fairies, the Old Ones

Lisa Perry ‘s music is rich in melody, harmony, message and inspiration. Her original songs represent a blend of influence from nature, angels, her garden, mountains, Native American symbolism and ritual, nature spirits and fairies. The songs, whether in live performance or on recording, are full of healing and peacefulness, joy and motivation.

Lisa is a Reiki master as well as a sound healer. She has been using sound all of her life as a purifying agent and a method of cleansing.

“Sound is a powerful tool,” she says. “It can move blockages and align or balance our fields and chakras as well as enhance our sense of well being. That intention goes into every performance I give. I also incorporate what I have learned in Reiki about the transference of energy when I sing. I want everyone who hears the music to receive some kind of healing or enrichment or awakening. Music is a perfect mode for that kind of energy transference. The music rises up and moves through me. It really has a life and energy all its own. I am the channel, the resonant field.”

Lisa feels a deep connection with the strong feminine expression of Mother Earth. That is a powerful influence in the music. Hathor, who was an Egyptian goddess of the sky and the earth, of light and bliss, of joy and fertility, is a source of inspiration for Lisa. “Hathor is rising up like a phoenix in womankind again now,” says the artist, “and she is full of sound and light, power and gentleness, nurturing and compassion.”

Lisa is also an experienced toner. Toning is the art of using sound personally or in a group for healing, balancing, cleansing and transferring energy. It is a natural progression from her lifestyle as a musician.

She is available for toning seminars where she explains some of what she has learned about the use of sound for personal and global healing, and where she leads groups in the toning experience.

“Angel Rose” is her fourth recording project. It is a group of spiritual songs that were all written and arranged by Lisa. She uses her wide vocal range to overlay all of the many harmonies.

She plays the guitar, but she also had the help of many talented and accomplished musicians on the project. The cover of “Angel Rose” is an embroidery project also done by Lisa. It, too, is an original composition. “It took eleven years to complete the embroidery,” says Perry. “Many of the images represented in thread are also represented in the music. I hope it will be a blessing to all who listen with an open heart.”
